The Goomeri Pumpkin Festival is hosting a special invitational VIP evening, at no cost to our invited guests, where you will enjoy an evening of great food and entertainment, with a special address from the committee, Mayor Glen Hartwig and Member for Nanango, Deb Frecklington MP.

Tapas Style

The menu will be Tapas style (appetiser), and will be served on bamboo platters and walked around amongst the guests, while you mingle and enjoy all that the evening has to offer.

(Please note that there will be a scattering of seating and tables available for you to use for your comfort and we ask that you keep in mind social distancing requirements)
Beer, local wine, tea and coffee will be available on the night and are complimentary.

Catering by Gympie’s very own Jarrod and Lauren, of Beauty and the Beard Eats

Jarrod and Lauren have designed a cracker of a menu for this event with a few little surprises thrown in for good measure. Jarrod is even going to fire up the hall’s very own wood fired oven to bake some of Lauren’s grandma’s pumpkin scones, and heart jam drops using local rosella jams and honey.

Jarrod is happy for guests to venture outside to check out his woodfired smokehouse and for you to have a sneak peek in the Kitchem to see the hall’s wood fired oven in action.

Cooking Demonstration – by Chef Jason Ford

South Burnett Food Ambassador, Chef Jason Ford, will be presenting an entertaining cooking demonstration with co-host and special guest, Deb Frecklington MP – Member for Nanango.

Jason will be whipping up a quick and easy dinner meal using locally sourced ingredients, Deb’s very own homemade Pesto, and of course, yummy pumpkin.

Jason Ford has graced the Celebrity Chef Stage of many Goomeri Pumpkin Festival’s held over the years with cooking demonstrations, cook-off compeitiions, pumpkin carving and co-hosting on stage with with Chef Matt Golinski.

Saxophonist, Tom McKenzie

Be greeted on the night by beautiful sounds of music as Goomeri local, Tom McKenzie, plays some lovely tunes on his saxaphone. He will even take requests.
