At Torkit Business Solutions we work with businesses, councils and community organisations to create engaging video content that tells their story. From promotional videos and training resources through to community projects and interviews, our focus is on producing videos that connect with audiences and leave a lasting impression.

We provide video production services across the South Burnett, including Kingaroy, Murgon, Wondai, Nanango and Blackbutt, and also service the North Burnett region. We are able to assist clients in other locations upon request.

Tarong Power & Meandu Mine – 40yrs

About this project:

Client: Stanwell Corporation
We were engaged to produce two videos to celebrate the 40-year milestone of Tarong Power Station and Meandu Mine. One video focused on the history and people of Tarong Power Station, while the other highlighted the important role of Meandu Mine in supporting power generation for the region.
The videos were produced as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations held at Tarong in May 2024, where past and present employees, special guests and families came together to reflect on the history of the operation and celebrate the people who have contributed to its success over the past four decades.

South Burnett Regional Council

About this project:

Client: South Burnett Regional Council
We were commissioned to film and produce several informational videos for the SBRC in client services, waste water, air scouring, disaster prepardness and commercial waste. We partnered with Nancy from Nancy Jayde Photograpy, a locl community organsiation, to work with us on this project.

GP Videos

About the Project:

Client: South Burnett Regional Council (SBRC)
This project was produced during 2024–2025 in partnership with South Burnett Regional Council to help promote the region as an attractive place for medical professionals to live and work. Through a series of videos, local doctors and community members shared their experiences of working in the South Burnett and the lifestyle benefits the region offers.
The videos were created to support recruitment efforts and highlight the opportunities available for GPs considering a move to the area

North Burnett Entrepreneurs

About the Project:

Client: BIEDO in partnership with North Burnett Regional Council.
This project was filmed in 2022 as part of a three-day road trip across the North Burnett region, where we interviewed six young local entrepreneurs and captured their business stories. Travelling through the region and meeting passionate young business owners made this one of our most memorable filming experiences. It reminded us how powerful video can be in sharing local stories and inspiring others.

The Big Peanut – Kingaroy

About this project:

Kingaroy Has a Big Peanut team – Abigail, Kristy, Tina, Rowena, Susan, Greg, Janene and Sharon
The Big Peanut became a reality in 2021 due to community contributors who donated through a Go Fund Me Page, Major Sponsors – G Crumpton & Sons and Bega Cheese LTD, including generous sponsorship from The Peanut Van.
In-kind support from AMG Electrical, ATC Engineers & Project Managers, AM Cranes, Kingaroy Freight Express, Paul Reeves Carpentry, Rixon Design and JS Signs has greatly been appreciated. You all have BIG hearts
The Big Peanut would not have happened without the support of the South Burnett Regional Council who provided upgrades to the park and in-kind support with the construction of the plinth.
The Big Peanut was sculptured by Kane Minogue, who is now forever linked to this beautiful region, the South Burnett, and to the township of Kingaroy.
Our Director Tina Torrens was part of the team.

About this project:

In 2025 we were engaged by the South Burnett Pantry, supported by Graham House, to produce promotional video content highlighting the importance of the service, its expansion and the role it plays in supporting the local community under a spe3cual project.

RED earth community Foundation

About this organisation:

Organisation: Red Earth Community Foundation
“Red Earth Community Foundation is a non-profit organisation in the Burnett Inland, encompassing the South Burnett, Cherbourg, and North Burnett regions”. We have worked with Red Earth Community Foundation over a number of years, producing a range of videos to support their community initiatives, both on a commissioned and in-kind basis.
Tina Torrens, Director of Torkit Business Solutions, was also part of the inaugural South Burnett Community Leadership Program in 2014, alongside 14 other local community members. This connection has provided a strong understanding of the organisation and the important role it plays in supporting leadership and community development across the region.

Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with a number of community organisations and not-for-profit groups across the South Burnett. Boondooma Homestead

Organisation: Boondooma Museum and Heritage Association
We have been working with Boondooma Homestead since 2022, supporting the promotion and filming of their much-loved festivals, including Spirit of the Bush (running since 2000) and Scots in the Bush (running since 2010).
Our involvement has included both commissioned and in-kind work, and we feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside the community and capture the many talented entertainers who perform for visitors attending and camping at the homestead.
This is a special community organisation that we hold close to our hearts, celebrating both the people and the stories that make these events so unique.

DPI – Sesame & Summer Crops

About this project:

Organisation: Department of Primary Industries – Farm Business Resilience Program
We were engaged by the Department of Primary Industries as part of the Farm Business Resilience Program to film and capture a series of trial activities and interviews.
This included covering alternative summer cropping options, documenting a live crimping demonstration, and capturing updates on sesame seed trials. The project involved interviewing producers and industry representatives, showcasing practical insights and real-world applications for farmers across the region. We worked with Nancy from Nancy Jayde Photography on this project.

Rockin our abilities

Organisation:
Rockin Our Abilities is a not-for-profit community group based in the South Burnett that delivers music and drama programs for people with disabilities living in regional Queensland. The group brings people together through a shared love of music, providing opportunities to rehearse, perform and showcase their talents.
We have had the privilege of filming a number of their concerts over the years, both on a commissioned and in-kind basis. It is always a rewarding experience capturing the energy, confidence and joy that shines through in each performance.
