Evacuation Diagrams
Evacuation diagrams are visual information tools of a buildings floor plan that help occupants quickly identify evacuation routes, exits and important fire safety features within a building. They are designed to provide clear guidance on how to leave the building safely during an emergency.
Evacuation diagrams are usually displayed in key locations throughout a workplace to help occupants familiarise themselves with the building layout and evacuation procedures.
Our evacuation diagrams are designed in accordance with the principles of AS 3745 – Planning for Emergencies in Facilities and are prepared using an enhanced template originally developed from Queensland Fire Services guidance materials.
Evacuation diagrams can also support staff awareness when used alongside fire evacuation training and workplace emergency procedures
